Brunson 10 down to four players
January 27, 2010
Doyle Brunson and his online poker room have been diligently working to create a professional poker team called The Brunson 10. Five players had been added to the new tea over the past few months but recently the news came out that one player, Alec Torelli, had decided to move on to a different opportunity.
Torelli age 21 was invited to join The Brunson 10 in July 2009 but now has decided to move on to another venture. DoylesRoom released a statement to the press discussing the matter. In the statement it read:
“DoylesRoom confirmed that they are not renewing their contract with Alec Torelli. The online poker player is moving on to another project. Since launching the Brunson 10, Doyle Brunson and the poker room that bears his name have been bombarded by poker players looking to sign with DoylesRoom including a number of players who already have contracts with other poker sites.”
So now The Brunson 10, which Doyle calls the ‘Future Legends of Poker’, is down to four players. The remaining poker pros on the team are: Amit ‘amak316’ Makhija, Dani ‘ansky’ Stern, Zachary ‘CrazyZachary’ Clark and Chris ‘moorman1’ Moorman.
DoylesRoom has stated they are working to find the remaining players to make up the new poker team and they hope to have the players announced in the near future. In the meantime those who want to take on the four remaining players of The Brunson 10 can log on to DoylesRoom on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month for the Beat the Brunson 10 tournaments.
